Mark Duffield

Director / Principal, Certified Practising Conveyancer

After working in the finance industry (ANZ Bank) for 15 years, Mark completed an Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing and began his career with Lyon Conveyancing. In July 2009 Mark became the Principal of Lyon Conveyancing and is a member of both the Australian Institute of Conveyancers SA Division and Real Estate Institute of SA. To maintain up to date knowledge of Conveyancing issues, Mark attends monthly professional development seminars. Mark enjoys playing Tennis, Golf, watching the Crows, going on family holidays and being involved with his two children's sport.

Norman Russell

Registered Conveyancer

Norm worked in the Finance Industry for 18 years, 15 of which in the Legal Dept under direct supervision and training of a Senior Solicitor (State Bank of South Australia) before becoming a Licensed Land Broker in 1974. Norm has been a practicing Conveyancer since 1975 and worked as a full time Conveyancer for a Financial Institution and as a Manager / Conveyancer for a Large Building Society until 1984. Since 1984 he has worked for Solicitors, managed Conveyancing offices and was owner of Lyon Conveyancing from 1996 - 2009. In his time in the industry, Norm has gained experience, knowledge & expertise in a wide range of Conveyancing matters including Land Divisions, Encumbrances, Mortgages, Family Transfers, Private Contracts, Sale & Purchase for vacant Land, Residential & Commercial properties.

Jenny Burgess

Registered Conveyancer

Jenny's introduction to the Conveyancing Industry commenced in 1975 as a rounds clerk for a Conveyancing Office. In 1986, Jenny started her career with Lyon Conveyancing and went on to complete an Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing in 2009 and became a Registered Conveyancer in 2010. Jenny's desire to increase her knowledge proves to be her most valuable asset and with over 30 years experience in the Conveyancing Industry, Jenny has the knowledge and skills to co-ordinate all aspects of property settlements. It is due to this knowledge and her attention to the finer details that Jenny receives many commendations from her clients. Jenny also enjoys gardening, fishing, interstate travel, watching the Crows ans spending time with her family.

Jackie Meldrum

Receptionist / Office Assistant

Jackie began with Lyon Conveyancing in June 2003 and has extensive experience with Customer Service in the Telecommunications, Finance and Insurance Industry. In Jackie's role as Receptionist she is often the first contact for our clients. Jackie ensures our client's needs are met as quickly as possible in a professional and friendly manner. Living on a small rural holding, Jackie's passion is horse riding.

Lyn Irving

Administration / Bookkeeping

Lyn began working for M A Lyon Pty Ltd as a Settlements Officer, dealing with many transactions for Agents in the North Eastern Area. In 1975, Lyn left to have a family and work in the family business but returned to Lyon Conveyancing in 1981 to work in Administration and Bookkeeping. Lyn continues to work in the family business along with working for Lyon Conveyancing on a casual basis. Her duties include Trust Account bookkeeping and managing payroll systems. She also assists many Agents with administration duties and plays an advisory role for their Trust Accounts and payroll systems. Lyn is a proud Nana who enjoys holidays in the caravan and overseas trips.
