Philippa is the most recent addition to our Lawyers. Philippa has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney. She also undertook cross institutional study at the Australian National University, there she received the University Award for Health Law, Bioethics and Human Rights Law. She completed her practical legal training in Sydney based law firms. Philippa is admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia. Philippa appears at Local Courts and the Federal Magistrates Court. She is an approachable, caring and professional young Lawyer. She is passionate about (and has had significant exposure to) Family Law and Criminal Law. Philippa also works in the areas of Traffic Law and Debt Recovery. Philippa will always give clients the attention they deserve and is determined to put their best case forward. Bruce is widely known and respected in Cronulla , the Sutherland Shire and throughout Sydney as a Conveyancing & Business Lawyer. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in 1975 and admitted to the High Court in 1981. He is an experienced Lawyer who commenced practice in the St George area in 1970 and became a Partner in 1979. In the early 1990’s he left the law for a while to travel around Australia with his family before resuming as a Consultant. For over ten years he has practiced as a Senior Lawyer in Cronulla, the last seven with Gibson Howlin Lawyers. Bruce has long standing associations and referral networks with Counsel, particularly in criminal, personal injury, and estate matters. He has for many years co-ordinated the South Eastern Division of the Red Shield Appeal together with the support of other Charitable organisations. Bruce is widely known to local real estate agents and regularly attends residential and commercial property auctions to assist both real estate agents and his Clients. Bruce is always available to attend Clients out of hours and will travel to home, to hospital or elsewhere upon request by a Client. Matt has well over 33 years of practice experience as a Litigator and Advocate in dealing with complex civil, commercial and business matters. He has built a reputation for competent, cost effective and practical advice for a wide range of Clients in a wide range of matters. Admitted to the High Court of Australia, Matt has appeared and advised on disputes in the Supreme Courts, Federal Court of Australia and all other jurisdictions in complex commercial, business and building matters, contract law, disputed estates, issues arising under the Corporations Act and in Equity matters. Matt heads the Firm’s able Litigation lawyers and is willing and able to appear in almost all jurisdictions and advise on most areas of law. He has been most successful in resolving complex cases using Dispute Resolution procedures, well received by our Clients. Over his decades of practice he has been fortunate to create an extensive referral network of senior and junior Counsel, Accountants and many other experts, who are almost always available on short notice for Clients of the Firm. His Clients have included a wide variety of high profile persons, business and community leaders and members of the wider community both in Australia and overseas. He has a reputation for promoting and protecting strongly the interests of all of his Clients, regardless of their status or background, and he is well respected by his peers. Reg is a respected commercial Conveyancing and Business Lawyer with nearly 50 years experience in Sydney CBD, Cronulla and Shire Law. He commenced his practising life with the Public Trustee dealing with estate administration and wills. In 1968 he commenced practice in Cronulla. He has been a Partner in the Firm and its forerunners for the last 45 years. Reg has extensive experience in Property Law and Finance. He has advised Clients on a wide range of domestic conveyances, property developments, the sale and purchase of businesses, residential and commercial leasing, wills and estates. His Clients include developers, financiers and most cross sections of the community. He has developed a reputation for fair dealing and always acts in the best interests of his many Clients. Reg, as one of the founders of the Firm, is an integral part of its continued success. Together with other Partners of the Firm he has for many years provided pro bono advice to many charitable and community based organisations, including Cronulla Surf Club and Sylvanvale Foundation. In his spare time. Reg retains a keen interest in all sports, particularly golf and rugby league. Formerly a competitive squash player he now concentrates on golf. He lives and works in Cronulla.
