Defence Lawyers
Defence law is the body of laws or statutes which deals with issues concerning the conduct or discipline of military personnel. This law also determines the trial and punishment of military personnel and military reservists who are charged of criminal acts or violations of the military conduct. This law is applicable only to the active-duty members of the military or armed forces and not to civilians.
What is Defence Law?
Defence law is aimed particularly to military personnel or individuals serving the army. This law is aimed at ensuring discipline and order within the armed forces. Defence law provides rules and policies on what should be the right military conduct and provides or determines punishment for any military personnel who is found guilty of committing any violations of the military statutes. This law also provides regulations on what should be called a lawful command.
Defence law applies to all military personnel and military reservists who are in active duty. Defence law is also called military law or military justice.
Who Needs Defence Lawyers?
Defence lawyers and law firms are professionals who are especially adept and highly skilled in the laws and statutes governing military law. They have specific knowledge on the laws governing the conduct of military command and military personnel. Their expertise on the legal issues concerning the military corps can be beneficial to military personnel and military reservists who are facing disputes during their active duty in the military.
Defence lawyers and law firms are not part of the military service. They are civilians. Therefore, they are not embodied by the laws governing the military and the armed forces. Because of this, these defence lawyers and law firms can vigorously represent in court or defend any military officer or military personnel who are facing disputes without fearing for possibilities of retaliation and/or career or command influence.
Defence lawyers and law firms can provide legal advice and legal assistance or representation in court litigations to members of the armed forces such as those enlisted or are members or officers of the Navy, Air Force, and Army. These lawyers can also provide legal assistance to military personnel who are facing charges in the military board, military court martial proceedings, and other military investigations.
If you have any queries regarding the scope of the defence law or if you are in need of legal advice and legal assistance concerning disputes or litigations within the military corps, the expertise of the defence law firms and lawyers can help you.
